The text of draft law No. 7114, which introduced martial law in the country, has disappeared from the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. This document was submitted for consideration on February 24, 2022, the day full-scale military actions began on the territory of Ukraine. The draft law provided for the declaration of martial law and bringing the country to a state of mobilization readiness, which made it possible to introduce the corresponding measures of martial law, as well as expand the powers of the armed forces and security forces to counter the external threat.

The removal of the document has caused active discussion and raised questions in public and political circles. Some experts associate this with a possible revision of the current situation and preparation for changes in the legal regulation of wartime against the backdrop of dynamic changes in international politics and the situation at the front.

At the same time, representatives of the Verkhovna Rada have not yet given official comments regarding the disappearance of the document, leaving this situation open to interpretation.
