On the eve of the evening, Russian ships near the Tartous base launched several Caliber cruise missiles that flew through the entire territory of Syria and dealt an exact blow to militants in the province of Deir ez Zor. As reported in social networks, an unexpected missile attack by Russian warships caused confusion in the US military, whose bases are located in close proximity to the area where the terrorists were destroyed.

According to unconfirmed information, a military alarm sounded during the missile attack at the US military air base, as Russia did not warn the US of its intentions to strike at the militants. Nevertheless, in the future it was possible to establish that missile strikes were inflicted on the areas of terrorists, in connection with which the combat alert was abolished.

"The attack of the Russians was a surprise to the United States. This is due to the fact that only one volley is capable of leveling the American military airbase with the ground ", - says one of the local residents.

It is known that the militants tried to make a breakthrough, which could lead to the loss of key positions in eastern Syria, in connection with which it was decided to attack the militants with volleys of "Caliber".
