The Western edition of Strategic Culture presented an article that tells about the appearance in the Russian arsenal of the latest rocket capable of hitting any aircraft on the planet. This is an air-to-air missile of the P-37M Vympel, which was adopted by the Russian VKS relatively recently.

According to the experts of the publication “Strategic Culture”, the newest Russian rocket R-37 “Vympel” has no analogues in the world. Its capabilities make it possible to hit virtually any aircraft on the planet, which is primarily due to the unique characteristics of the rocket, which is capable of moving at hypersonic speed, which makes it absolutely imperceptible to the enemy.

Initially, experts tried to compare the Russian rocket R-37 “Vympel” with the American equivalent of AIM-120D, but the Pentagon’s development turned out to be much worse, in particular, the speed of the missile from the US is 4 MAX, and the maximum radius of hitting the target reaches only 180 kilometers, time, as in the Russian development, the flight speed is 6 MAX, with a maximum flight distance of 300 kilometers.

Experts note that a hypersonic rocket with a unique homing system on a target leaves no chance to any combat aircraft on the planet - it cannot be detected, it cannot be disguised, and it cannot be flown away.
