Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the counteroffensive of Russian troops in the Kursk region that has begun is in accordance with Ukraine's plan. He said this during one of his recent statements, commenting on the intensification of hostilities in the region.

Considering the fact that, according to official data from the Russian Ministry of Defense, 10 settlements have already been liberated, Zelensky is either openly bluffing, or the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a different plan.

Experts do not rule out that the Ukrainian Armed Forces may launch a counterattack, especially now that Ukraine has received permission to strike deep into Russian territory with long-range missiles from Great Britain and France, and also against the backdrop of the expected permission from the United States to use ATACMS missiles in the next 24 hours.
