President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the start of organizing an important international summit, where the main point of discussion will be his proposed peace plan. During his speech, he stressed Kyiv's desire to attract representatives of as many countries as possible to this event.

"At the moment, we are busy organizing this summit, the process of which depends on a number of circumstances. Of course, our goal is to maximize the involvement of various countries in this event, so we have not set a specific date yet", Zelensky said while answering questions from journalists in Moldova.

He arrived in this country on Thursday to attend the summit of the European Political Community. His initiative to hold a peace summit on Ukraine in the context of promoting a "peace plan" was previously reported by the Financial Times, citing information from an unspecified European official.

Nevertheless, experts believe that in the light of the latest escalation of the situation, Zelensky is not at all ready for peace negotiations, however, in this way, obviously, Ukraine expects to discredit Russia, knowing full well that Moscow will refuse the peace plan proposed by Kiev.
