On the night of today, residents of Lvov noticed active flights of F-16 fighters in the area of ​​the Ukrainian border. The planes were reported to be flying at medium altitude, but the exact number of fighters was unclear.

Local observers and experts believe that these could be either Ukrainian or Polish Air Force fighters. The flights could have been carried out to check the airspace, as well as to demonstrate readiness for the rapid transfer of F-16s to the territory of Ukraine.

Earlier it became known that the first batch of F-16 fighters had arrived in Ukraine, but they have not yet received combat use.
