In addition, the main task for the creators of the A-3 "Remez" was to implement the suitability of the complex for the hidden type of deployment on foot without the use of vehicles. Thus, small dimensions of UAV and ground equipment were determined. Therefore, a complex of equipment was included in the UAV complex. For transportation of the complex, three containers each weighing 15 kg each are used. Containers have the following dimensions - 1 x 0,4 x 0,4 m. Especially for the improvement of the complex, preliminary experimental UAVs "OKO-1" and "Titmouse-2" were designed. The first was tested in September 1997 year. And the following year, the design work was started on the A-3 UAV "Remez". The original arrangement of the device determined small dimensions.

In the unmanned vehicle, the only suitable scheme was used - the "Duck", with a short fuselage, similar to an elliptical body of rotation with an air pushing screw, which was mounted in a ring. Using a power plant based on the piston engine D-23 (power 2,5 hp), and the aerodynamic scheme allowed to provide the device a wide range of speeds. In turn, wide opportunities in speed control allowed "Remez" to conduct both operative patrolling of the area, and as long as possible. In addition, the selected scheme "Duck" in the conditions of the device's exit to critical angles of attack has the property of ignoring the "corkscrew". In this case, he simply lowers the nom and goes to the descent mode. To create the structure A-3, fiberglass and a power set of aluminum alloys were used. This design allows you to save on production, because complex and expensive types of equipment are not used in the layout. Nevertheless, the materials used are of high quality and therefore provide a high resource, strength and maintainability of the device.

In 2001, KB specialists began to create a universal modification of the A-3 UAV "Remez-U". In addition to possible tasks, the new aircraft could drop small cargoes in certain regions. Another modification - "Remez-ZU" - was able to take off from the catapult. For this purpose, the catapult from the Albatross-4K complex was converted. When performing additional modifications, the UAV can take off from the wheeled chassis.
