Adam A700 Adamjet

Wanting to secure a sector of the highly promising ultralight jet market, Adam Aircraft Industries developed the Adam A500 Adamjet in parallel with the A700. These aircraft are 70 percent structurally identical, and the biggest difference between them is the propulsion system (the A500 is a piston aircraft, and the A700 is a turbojet).

In addition, the A700 passenger gondola is larger. Because of these features, the A700 is more comfortable, faster and more spacious. The A700 cockpit (length 4,88 m, width 1,37 m and height 1,31 m) accommodated a pilot, next to it - by choice - a passenger or a co-pilot.

Four more passengers were accommodated on the plane if there was a larger toilet in the tail, five if there was a small toilet, or 6 passengers if there was no toilet at all. Like the A500, the A700's cab is furnished with leather seats, a TV and a small bar. Luggage compartments are located at the front and rear of the cab.

Installation of engines consists of two turbofan engines WilliamsInternationalFJ334, nominal thrust which 6,01kN, but in order to save fuel and increase the reliability, it was reduced to 4,89kN. Adam himself this model is considered a reliable on 99,9 percent. Motors installed in the gondola, which are attached to the rear fuselage small pylons.

The exhaust jet from the motors enters the space between the tail beams and the horizontal plane bridging them from above. Unlike the A500, there is an additional fuel tank at the bottom of the A700 fuselage, and since the flight must take place at a fairly high altitude, the A700 has a standard system for heating the windshield, air intakes and horizontal planes.

But fully A700 and are not certified, although Adam and said that this will be done in 2008, but instead in February 2008 firm was liquidated.

Unusual design A700 gave him the opportunity to stand out among most other ultra-light jet business jets. In addition, A700 attracted attention to themselves companies, which organize the transportation of passengers using air taxis.
