Amel - Algerian military drone aircraft designed in 2013, the specialists of the Center of research of Algeria technologies.

Military reconnaissance UAV Amel became Algerian scientists constructed with the direct assistance of engineers from France to 21011 year. Through intensive enough doing work related to the development, two years later the aircraft was able to make its first test flight, however, for technical reasons, the actual production and operation of unmanned started only 2016 year.

Currently drone Amel is for military purposes, and is used for patrol work, to carry out search operations, for reconnaissance and surveillance of certain areas.

Unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a camera which provides the ability to conduct surveillance, thus, the system is different possibility of using drones even in poor visibility conditions and at night.

Amel UAV equipped with a piston engine, providing the ability to perform drone fly at a speed of 150 km \ h. (Maximum value), thus, the effective range of the UAV applications is 240 kilometers, which is very efficient. An absolute ceiling of the UAV is 3500 meters, which provides almost all the needs of direct operators, which today are the Algerian Air Force and armed forces of this country.

Amel UAV is equipped with modern means of navigation, and can be flown as the direct participation of the person, and automatically moving between these points and passing the required information into the computer, for its subsequent processing.
