Antonio was 9-commander of Squadron. He distinguished himself during one of his campaigns, which were held on Jolo island against the rebels.

Despite heavy fire from the ground, Antonio was able to make five heroic visits on the target. His blazing fire fighter, he tried to bring to the territory that was controlled by government forces.

Bautista managed to eject before his plane exploded. But down on the ground the pilot was shot at from the ground and died.

29.04.1974, he was posthumously awarded Star of Courage. After a time, an air base in Puerto Prince was named after him.
