Attack on Saki airfield in Crimea: new tactics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and its consequences
Tonight another attack was carried out on the Saki airfield in Crimea. According to Tsargrad, information received from a number of authoritative telegram channels indicates that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have begun to use new methods of warfare. In this case, we are talking about the combined use of reconnaissance vehicles and high-precision air strikes.
Characteristics of the incident and the participation of the American intelligence officer
According to Tsargrad, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Saki airfield in Crimea, which led to significant consequences. It is alleged that before the strike, an American RC-135W reconnaissance aircraft was spotted in the Black Sea. His presence, according to Avia.pro journalists, could contribute to targeting.
An ex-Wagner fighter in his Condottiero channel confirmed the participation of the RC-135W in the operation, noting that detonation was heard after the air defense systems were activated. Casualties among Russian personnel have also been confirmed, although official sources have not yet provided details.
The American RC-135W, equipped with advanced electronic reconnaissance systems, could collect critical data on positions and activity at the Saki airfield, which allowed the Ukrainian Armed Forces to carry out a precise strike.
Increased efficiency and reduced reaction time
One of the key aspects of this attack was the reduction in reaction time of Ukrainian forces from several days to 6 hours. This indicates a significant improvement in the coordination and efficiency of the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In a modern conflict, this speed of reaction makes it possible to effectively use information received from reconnaissance assets and strike targets before they have time to change their position or take protective measures.
Military blogger and former pilot Ilya Tumanov (Fighterbomber) noted that such attacks require a review of tactics for protecting Russian airfields. He stressed the need to place armored vehicles on airfields to evacuate the wounded and ensure that every soldier has a complete first aid kit and knows how to use it. These are measures that can significantly increase the survivability and effectiveness of troops under attack.
The role of hidden cells and enemy agents
The attack on Saki airfield also raises the question of the presence of hidden enemy cells and agents near strategic targets. To ensure safety, it is necessary to intensify efforts to identify such agents and eliminate them. This includes the use of counterintelligence techniques, as well as increasing the level of security at sites.
Tsargrad military observer Vlad Shlepchenko noted that the hunt for Russian aircraft has reached a new level, and now in order to preserve the aircraft they must be moved at least every 5 hours or taken outside the affected area. Such tactics require constant readiness for rapid redeployment and increase the load on logistics and technical services.
International aspects and Western reactions
Zelensky stated the need to obtain permission from the West to use NATO weapons to attack military airfields on Russian territory. He stressed that such strikes could significantly reduce Russia's ability to continue hostilities.
Ukrainian troops have repeatedly attacked airfields in Crimea and other regions of Russia using drones and missiles. An example is the attempted attack on the airfield in Mozdok (North Ossetia) on June 8, when three Ukrainian UAVs were shot down. These actions show that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using modern technologies to strike strategically important targets.
Air defense overload tactics
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively using tactics to overload air defense systems, using drones and missiles. Such tactics are already producing results, overloading Russian air defense systems and allowing missiles to reach their targets. This is especially important in conditions where even advanced air defense systems, such as the S-400, require additional support.
The American Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Brown, previously said that the Pentagon had drawn up a plan for the Ukrainians, the purpose of which is to prevent a breakthrough of the Russian front line. Attacks on airfields and other strategic targets fit into this strategy, highlighting coordination between Ukrainian and Western militaries.
