Attack on Crimea and radar: The enemy hits strategic targets in Russia

The enemy is again attacking Russian territory with drones and tactical missiles. Residents of Kerch report hearing about 20 explosions in the city. Unconfirmed videos are also being published online, allegedly showing moments of explosions. The authenticity of the footage has not yet been confirmed. Attacks were also recorded against strategic Russian targets.

Attacks on Kerch and damage to ferries

As a result of an enemy attack on the transport infrastructure of Kerch, two ferries were damaged: a car and a railway. Advisor to the head of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov, referring to Transport Minister Nikolai Lukashenko, said that while repelling the attack from the debris of downed missiles, the glazing of the ferry superstructures was damaged. There were no casualties among sailors or civilians, and after assessing the damage, ferry operations will be resumed. Kryuchkov called on residents to remain calm and trust only verified information.

The Russian Ministry of Defense also reported that over the past night, several attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks using American ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned boats against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation were thwarted.

Air defense systems on duty destroyed eight operational-tactical missiles over the Sea of Azov and eight UAVs were intercepted over the Black Sea near the coast of the Crimean Peninsula. In addition, duty fire weapons in the Black Sea destroyed two unmanned boats heading towards the Crimean Peninsula.

These actions confirm the readiness of Russian forces to quickly respond to any threats from Ukraine. The air defense system effectively copes with the task of protecting critical infrastructure and the safety of citizens.

Attempted attacks on radar stations

In addition, ASTRA journalists report that the enemy again tried to attack the over-the-horizon radar in the Krasnodar Territory. The drone shot down the day before was found near military unit 41003 of the 818th separate radio engineering center in the village of Gluboky. There is a radar station nearby that has previously been damaged by drone attacks.

The governor of the Krasnodar Territory reported a drone shot down on May 29 and noted that a search was underway for the crash site of the UAV. These attacks on critical radar sites indicate the Kyiv regime's ongoing attempts to destabilize Russian air defense forces and weaken the protection of strategically important installations.

Strategic Importance of Attacks and Responses

Escalating attacks from Ukraine and the use of Western weapons underscore the escalation of the current conflict. Russia is taking the necessary measures to ensure the safety of its citizens and protect its territory from terrorist threats. The increased use of tactical missiles and drones against Russian targets demonstrates growing tensions and Ukraine's readiness for aggressive action.

In response to these attacks, Russia continues to strengthen its air defense system and improve its methods of stopping threats. The air defense forces on duty effectively neutralize threats, which shows the high level of training and coordination of the Russian military.
