The findings, which investigated plane crash

The investigation found that the cause of the catastrophe was a fire in the tail of the engine nacelle and in the wing due to the intense fuel leakage that caused heating and loss of strength of the wing's power components, left-hand hitch assemblies, air separation from the aircraft of the middle left wing, left propulsion system and , as a result, the loss of controllability and the fall of the aircraft. Continuous intensive leakage due to the appearance of fire led to its development in the wing and nacelle, which revealed the inability to eliminate the fire by fire extinguishing system. The most probable places of fuel leak are the durite connections behind or in front of the overlapping (fire) crane SU # 1. In view of the fire and severe destruction of the aircraft at the site of the fall, establish unambiguously the nature of the malfunction, the place of leakage and the cause that led to the fuel leakage was not possible. The fire that spread in the pre-wagon part was the most likely cause of the destruction of the wiring of the aileron control.
