Chronology of events:

The strike took the course 90 degrees in 15: 21 at a distance 2200 m from CTA with azimuth 130 degrees (in 1000 m from the end of the band with azimuth 110 degrees and in 500 m to the left of the axis). The cockpit and the left plane were destroyed. The fuselage along the entire length had a corrugation and a break in the region between the 21 and 16 frames. There was no fire. The commander was killed on the spot. Mechanic and co-pilot died within 24 hours. All crew members and passengers were injured. Five seriously wounded were evacuated by a US military plane C130 to a hospital in New Zealand. Subsequently, the radio operator was transferred to Moscow. He died in the hospital several months later (due to his death more than 30 days after the catastrophe was not indicated among the dead). Exceeding the place of the crash above sea level - 290м.
