Chronology of events:

The survivor, the radio operator of the aerological party Ivanov, testified that during the flight there was a strong bump. Looking out of the window and seeing the flame on the engine, he stood silently and went into the tail, where he wrapped himself in the covers. Immediately after this, a blow followed and he lost consciousness. The commission found that the plane from the torsional position hit the ground. The nose of the fuselage was collapsed before the center wing. Heavy cargo, which was placed behind the passengers broke and fell on them. The right engine screw was in the weathervane. The fuselage twisted from a blow at 90 degrees, the engines on the right side shifted.
