BAe Avro RJ-70 / 85 / 100

Aircraft of the Avro RJ (Avro Regional Jet) series are a continuation of the development of regional aircraft of the BAe.146 family. The Avro RJ aircraft were developed by Avro, which is part of the British Aerospace, a joint British aircraft manufacturer. These aircraft, due to the low noise level, are oriented towards operation at airports located in the city limits and are intended for flights on short and medium routes with a large passenger traffic.

Unlike its predecessor, Avro RJ aircraft have more powerful engines, an updated board and navigation equipment, as well as a reinforced chassis design, the fuselage and the bearing surfaces.

In 1990, the British aircraft manufacturer British Aerospace announced work on the modernization of the BAe.146 aircraft. The new aircraft was designated Avro RJ.

The new aircraft has the same concept in the form of a circular fuselage with a high-mounted main wing and "T" -shaped tail with horizontal elevators. Four turboprop engines are located on pylons under the wings. Initially, ALF-502 turboprop engines were chosen as the power plant for the new aircraft, but in the final version, AlliedSignal / Honeywell LF 507-1F engines were installed, each with a thrust of 27.3 kN.

On the plane was equipped with modern navigation equipment CNLS 910 production «Rockwell Collins» American firm, digital avionics and radio ARINC-700, production «Aeronautical Radio Incorporated».

The first model from the Avro RJ family to take off was the Avro RJ-85 version, which is a continuation of the BAe.146-200 model. The Avro RJ-85, serial number G-ISEE, flew on March 23, 1992.

This version in a dense configuration of the passenger compartment can accommodate up to 100 passenger seats. In the usual configuration, the Avro RJ-85 is designed to carry 82 passengers. The aircraft's flight range is 2530 kilometers. The flight speed of the Avro RJ-85 is 750 kilometers per hour.

Also produces and cargo version of the aircraft - Avro RJ-85QT.

On May 13, 1992, the first flight of the Avro RJ-100 version, which is a modification of the BAe.146-300, took place. This version is equipped with AlliedSignal LF 507-1F engines with thrust, each of 31,1 kN. The Avro RJ-100 aircraft has a length of 30,10 meters, and in its usual configuration is designed to carry 100 passengers, but with a dense arrangement of seats, up to 112 passenger seats can be accommodated in the cabin of this aircraft. The flight range of the Avro RJ-100 with a maximum load is 2550 kilometers. In addition to the passenger version, a cargo version of the aircraft was also produced, which received the designation Avro RJ100QT. This aircraft is equipped with a cargo door.

Avro RJ-70, has been upgraded from an airplane BAe.146-100. The first flight Avro RJ-70, 24 held August 1993 years. The aircraft has 26,16 meters length and standard can accommodate up to 70 passenger seats. When economical interior layout, in Avro RJ-70 82 can accommodate up seats. The maximum range of this version is 2990 kilometers.

The last Avro RJ was delivered to the airline in 2002. After that, in 2003, production of Regional Jet 70/85/100 aircraft was suspended. For the entire time of its production, from 1993 to 2003, 166 units of these aircraft models were produced. Despite the fact that Avro RJs are discontinued, they continue to be operated by air carriers and serve local and regional flights.

tenho a seguinte pergunta: o Avro RJ85 pode pousar com dois motores, a pergunta é positiva porque o piloto não cortou dois motores e assim sobraria combustível para pousar, obrigado
