UAV BAE Systems Corax is an innovative military development, which implies the active use of the Air Force of Great Britain in the implementation of tasks related to the exploration area, carry out special missions and tasks, the implementation of the patrol and observation flights, search and rescue operations, and others.

The first works related to the design of unmanned models of BAE Systems Corax were deployed British aircraft manufacturers and scientists in aerospace technology in the early 2000-ies, while already in 2004, the drone successfully has made its first test flight, however, for several reasons. He was sent to a technical improvement, which is why the production of UAV BAE Systems Corax started only 2005 years.

As a means of surveillance, unmanned aircraft model BAE Systems Corax has two cameras - a high-resolution electro-optical camera, which allows to conduct high-precision shooting area, as well as an infrared camera, making it possible to operate the drone, even at night.

Powerplant drone BAE Systems Corax presented a turbojet engine, which allows the device to accelerate to a maximum speed of flight in 350 km \ h. However, the maximum effective range of the UAV is only 100 kilometers.

Despite the prospect of the drone, the release of this device was very limited - only two flight sample was constructed for all the time, indicating that the low demand for this UAV.
