Bei-Wei BW-Ia. Specifications. A photo.

Bei-Wei BW-Ia is a Chinese military unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Wei-Biao-Zhi-Yuan Science and Technology Development Co..

The unmanned aircraft of the Bei-Wei BW-Ia model was designed by Chinese aircraft builders from the company Wei-Biao-Zhi-Yuan Science and Technology Development Co. on the basis of the Bei-Wei BW-I aircraft, which for a short time was able to prove itself. In fact, this drone is a deep modification, however, the device is positioned as a separate model.

The Chinese unmanned military aircraft model Bei-Wei BW-Ia has rather narrow and specific functional and operational capabilities, in particular, the device is designed to simulate the flight of missiles at subsonic speeds, as well as to test missile armament. Despite this fact, the device was just as popular as the drone model Bei-Wei BW-I, which is primarily due to the remaining low cost, as well as improved operational and technical characteristics.

The Be-Wei BW-Ia unmanned aerial vehicle was designed in a rocket-type configuration, and its appearance clearly resembles the drone of Bei-Wei BW-I. The compact dimensions of this aircraft can be transported without the use of special vehicles, however, due to the lack of its own chassis system, the UAV is launched using a ramp.

The aircraft of the Bei-Wei BW-Ia model is equipped with one reactive direct-flow motor, which allows the device to develop a maximum flight speed of 980 km / h, with the maximum range of missions in 25 kilometers.
