Built on its own initiative by "Aircraft Stirmen K °» (Stearman Aircraft Company), acquired in 1934, the company "Boeing", using as a basis for a model aircraft with the same firm. H70 plane (a designation given to it by the manufacturer) was submitted as a candidate in accordance with the requirements of the US Air Force 1934 years to the basic training aircraft. By the time production ceased more than 1945 aircraft was built at the beginning of the year 10000 and 1000 now more of them fly around the world.
