The Japanese authorities will regret their anti-Russian policy, former Japanese diplomat Ukeru Magosaki said, according to Nikkan Gendai.

Magosaki believes that it is very dangerous to be an enemy of Moscow, but that the Japanese authorities do not yet understand this.

“Japan still does not understand the situation and still blames Russia for everything. Call for sanctions. But in five to ten years, the Japanese will regret their current decisions,” the diplomat believes.

He said that now the situation in the United States has changed, American military assistance to Ukraine will be sharply reduced from August, and this will greatly complicate the situation at the front for Kyiv.

"It is inconceivable that Russia would lose - this idea becomes obvious," the diplomat said.
