At the terminal on the platform, a Tu-154 airplane # 85282 refueling was carried out, which produced the 2889 flight on the Vladivostok-Bratsk-Ekaterinburg route, with fuel. Refueling was carried out according to the scheme from TK to TZ. On board there were 10 passengers, including 5 children, who remained with the permission of the crew in the cabin of the aircraft during the parking. When refueling the aircraft under this scheme, after connecting the second TK, a fire broke out in the rear compartment of the main tanker. The fire took place due to the detachment from the receiver of the main TZ of the NNZ-5M tip and the fuel under pressure on the exhaust manifold of the engine of the pumping unit, which had been removed. Protective panels

The detachment of the tip was caused by the actions of Berdyshev, the operator of the fuel, Berdyshev was drunk. The specialists who refueled did not turn off the engines and stop fuel supply, and also drove the TZ-22-258 from the aircraft. The flame was rapidly expanding due to the fuel supply from the undocked TK under pressure. As a result, the two Tu-154 aircraft # 85234 and 85282 stood nearby. The actions of rescue emergency crews and firefighters failed to save the aircraft. Gavrilov, foreman of drivers, who drove up to the place of fire from the fire zone drove one TZ out. When the second burning TZ was driven off, an explosion of the tanker took place. G.A. Gavrilov received severe burns, from which 21.06.92 died at the hospital.
