The aircraft was designed by German designer at the biplane configuration, which increased its strength structure, increased hardness, and provided higher reliability when making flight. In addition, the use of a biplane configuration, the aircraft provided increased maneuverability that is the best suited for sports aircraft suitable for performing aerobatic stunts.

The plane was supposed to be released exclusively as a private sports aircraft, as a consequence, the scope of operation of the aircraft was very limited, but, nevertheless, the plane received a lot of support from potential customers, as evidenced big enough issue, amounting to four years about 50 aircraft, excluding those which are produced by Czech aircraft «UL-Jih Sedlacek Spol» as a set for self-assembly.

The cockpit of the aircraft has an open type, and in fact, the pilot and passenger, able to accommodate here, are separated from each other by a special bulkhead, which provides greater comfort when performing air travel. In view of the narrow scope of application of the aircraft of this model, as well as taking into account its design features, the aircraft cannot be used to transport any cargo on board. Nevertheless, the aircraft has twin controls, which makes it possible to use this aircraft as a training device.

The power plant of the Dallach Sunwheel, also known as WDFL Sunwheel and Fascination Sunwheel, consists of a single piston engine located in the front of the aircraft. Depending on the configuration, either a Sauer ULM 2000 piston engine with an output of 65 hp or an aircraft engine of the brand Rotax 912UL capable of developing power in 80 hp can be used here, which in turn provides the aircraft with the maximum speed The flight in 150-160 km / h. (Depending on the version of the power plant). The maximum range on which the Dallach Sunwheel airplane can fly is very limited, and is only 350 kilometers.
