Embraer 170 (Embraer 170) - the smallest representative of the Embraer aircraft type, designed by the eponymous Brazilian aircraft manufacturer in the 2000s. The aircraft was intended for use on lightly loaded medium-haul air lines. In addition to the basic version, there is also a variant of the Embraer 170LR with a longer flight range.

Regional aircraft with turbofan engines (TVD) in the early 90s began to squeeze significantly jet aircraft. The comfort that turboprop aircraft supplied passengers required increased speed to compete with the jet aircraft used on medium-haul lines. Yet the real revolution in the construction of such aircraft took place in 1992, when the Bombardier Canadian group presented its fifty-seat CRJ100... Soon the Brazilian company Embraer burst into the market and managed to overtake Canadian competitors by the number of orders.

Embraer is the fourth largest civil aircraft manufacturer in the world in terms of personnel (after Airbus, Boeing and Canada's Bombardier) and the third in terms of the number of aircraft built annually (after Airbus and Boeing). Experts estimate the breakthrough of local aircraft by Embraer to the market as an unexpected, but natural and obvious success of Brazilian aircraft builders.

The ERJ170 is a medium-haul passenger aircraft for regional airlines developed by the Brazilian company Embraer. Embraer EJet is a type of narrow-body twin-engine medium-range passenger aircraft. Includes four modifications: E175, E170, E195 and E190. The "EJet" includes local aircraft Embraer 175, 170, 195 and 190 which are designed to carry 70-110 passengers.

A better design, better technical characteristics, operational efficiency, spacious cabin and a low level of emissions of pollutants are the main distinguishing characteristics of the aircraft. The generality of constructs such as "EJet" makes it possible to significantly reduce the cost of spare parts, the costs of purchasing machines and training staff as well as the cost of repairs and maintenance. 170-I model is designed to 70-80 passengers, the type and make Embraer175 (78-84 passengers), Embraer190 (98passazhirov) and Embraer195 (108passazhirov).

The aircraft is a new development by Embraer in the class with extended passenger capacity compared to the ERJ135 / 140/145 aircraft. The following companies took part in the design of the aircraft: Honeywell (Primus Epic avionics), General Electric (turbofan engines CF348E10E), Hamilton Sundstrand (tail section design), Latecoere, Kawasaki, Gamesa, Liebherr, Sonaca (various fuselage elements), Parker Hannifin (fuel system and hydrodynamics). In 1999, Embraer introduced a new program for the construction of civil aircraft of the E170190 type, which are designed for 70-118 passengers.

The aircraft was first presented on 11.02.1999/1999/09.02.2002 and shown in 2002 at the Paris aviation exhibition. The first flight took place on 2003. Serial production started in 170. The launch of the seventy-seat ERJ21 in 17.03.2004 marked the birth of the next type of commercial airliner - meeting the requirements of national airlines and more spacious. The price of the plane is $ 170 million. On XNUMX the first commercial flight EXNUMX was made in Warsaw.
