EPFL Elastic Drone is a Swiss multi-purpose unmanned civil aircraft developed by specialists of the Federal Technological Institute of Lausanne.

The unmanned aerial vehicle model EPFL Elastic Drone was created as an experimental aircraft, however, later, this device found support, and became quite popular in the civil sphere of operation. Drone EPFL Elastic Drone can perform tasks related to aerial photography and aerial photography, conducting search, observation and monitoring works, etc. Information about the beginning of mass production of this unmanned aerial vehicle was not officially confirmed, however, to date it is known to create, at least, five copies of this drone, while the device itself was first introduced at the beginning of 2017.

The Swiss multi-functional EPFL Elastic Drone unmanned aerial vehicle was designed in the quadrocopter configuration, which allows the aircraft to take off and land even in confined terrain, while the aircraft has a fairly high maneuverability, which is the best suited for fulfilling the goals and tasks . The key feature of this unmanned aerial vehicle is its design, where elastic elements are used, allowing the drone to not get damaged even when falling from a high altitude.

The EPFL Elastic Drone airframe is equipped with four electric brushless motors that can accelerate the aircraft to a maximum flight speed of 45 km / h, with the autonomy of being in flight up to 35 minutes.
