Fokker F-28 Fellowship (FokkerF28 Fellowship) is a short-haul Dutch airliner. Joint project of several European aircraft manufacturers. Produced commercially in 1967-1987 in various variations.

Plane Design

The design of the aircraft, launched in 1962 year, was attended by several well-known European aircraft manufacturers: Fokker, MBB (Germany), ShortBrothers (United Kingdom), FokkerVFW (Germany),. Exploitation. The main variation

Analogue F28-1000 made the first flight of 09.05.1967. The aircraft is certified in Germany in 1969 year. Start of regular use of the aircraft - 28.03.1969, the aviation company Braathens. The cargo variation of this car was called F281000C.

By the 1971, a new variation of the aircraft was designed - a passenger with a 282000 passenger capacity (compared to the 79 in the F65) and a longer fuselage.

Later developed a modification of the F.28 Mk 000 - with a shorter fuselage from the 1000 series, a longer range and a hardened design. The main operator of this series was the aviation company Garuda Airlines.

The F284000 modification had the biggest commercial success. The aircraft of this series were regularly operated from 1976 by the aviation company Linjeflyg. The aircraft had an elongated fuselage and passenger capacity in 85 people. The wingspan has increased, the cabin and fuselage design has changed, not so noisy Spey 55515H motors have been installed.

The F28 Mk6000 version, which was certified in 1975, differed in a longer fuselage, copied, as in the 2000 / 4000 models, with a large wingspan and slats.
