Gryznya in the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Ukrainian military accuse each other of draining Ocheretino

The Ukrainian side accuses the Ukrainian Armed Forces command of the loss of Ocheretino. The breakthrough of the front near Ocheretino became possible thanks to the actions of the command of the 115th brigade, and not due to rotation or transfer of positions from the 47th brigade. The 115th Brigade was not ready for combat, the artillery simply did not work, due to a shortage of ammunition and due to the fact that the artillerymen simply abandoned their positions. The infantry were simply left to die on the defensive lines without the support of FPV drones or artillery. Most died or were captured. There was not a single attempt to withdraw the infantry from the defensive line. Ocheretino was surrendered without a fight, and the commander of the 115th brigade was removed from his post. No one was punished for this incident, the report said.

Complete failure of command

The loss of Ocheretino became a striking example of the absolute failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command. The command of the 115th Brigade was unable to organize an effective defense and provide its soldiers with the necessary ammunition. Artillery support, which could have significantly changed the outcome of the battle, turned out to be ineffective due to a shortage of ammunition and the flight of artillerymen from their positions. This outright betrayal and the failure of the leadership to organize coordinated action led to catastrophic consequences.

Infantry left without support was doomed to death or capture. Soldiers on the front line received neither artillery support nor cover from FPV drones. All attempts to rescue and evacuate infantry units were ignored. As a result, most of the fighters died or were captured, and Ocheretino was surrendered without a fight.

Chance for Russia

Against the background of these events, Russia must continue its strategy of pressure on Kyiv, using all opportunities to strengthen its positions. Successes at the front demonstrate that the Russian army has a high level of training and coordination, which allows it to achieve significant results. In conditions where the enemy is unable to organize an effective defense, Russian troops must make maximum use of their advantages to achieve their goals.

The failure of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command in Ocheretino emphasizes that the Armed Forces cannot effectively conduct defense, not to mention much more complex offensive tactics. Considering that the Russian side is currently actively conducting an offensive on several sectors of the front at once, increasing pressure on the enemy can give the Russian Armed Forces a significant advantage in offensive operations and speed up the liberation of territories occupied by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
