The design of the M-6 unmanned aerial vehicle was launched by Ukrainian specialists in the field of aerospace systems and aircraft construction, at the beginning of the 2000-ies. The new device was supposed to find application in the civil sphere, with a relatively narrow specialization. Drone M-6 Jaivir is designed to perform tasks related to biological plant protection, cartographic work, patrol observation missions, etc. Due to the narrow specificity of its application, the unmanned aerial vehicle is practically not in demand, in particular, more than a decade of production, only a few copies of this device were sold.

The M-6 unmanned aerial vehicle Zhaivir made its first test flight in 2004, and due to the fact that no deviations from the test conditions were identified, the project was approved and allowed to start production.

Ukrainian UAV M-6 Zhayvir has a fairly compact dimensions - with its length in meter 1 55 centimeters wing span drone is 1 60 meter centimeters, which ensures ease of operation of the UAV. Due to the fact that the drone has a relatively light construction, start-up device can be carried out with the help of muscle power.
