MAKS - Airshow of Russia

 

MAKS is an airshow that takes place on the territory of Russia in the city of Zhukovsky every two years, and is a huge international aerospace exhibition, which demonstrates high technologies in the aviation industry.

For the first time, the MAX airshow took place in 1993 year, and 17 countries of the world participated in the exhibition, but later, with each subsequent exhibition, the number of participants in the international aerospace exhibition was constantly growing, and it should be noted that the last MAKS air show held in 2013 44 countries that presented the latest achievements in the field of aviation and space technology.

Special attention was paid to MAKS airshow due to the fact that the exhibition of the latest achievements in the field of high technologies last for 6 days, half of which, usually the last three days, the exhibition becomes open to all comers, while most other international air shows are open only for the press and potential participants.

During the MAKS air show, the last samples of air equipment are demonstrated, and both military equipment and civil aircraft are on show, including aircrafts, helicopters, equipment that allows to significantly improve the reliability of the aircraft technology and the most ambitious plans for the near future.

Among other things, the international MAKS air show also shows demonstration air performances on various aircraft, among which there are both airplanes and helicopters. Demonstration performances allow you to evaluate the technical characteristics of air equipment as well as possible, thereby demonstrating its capabilities to the numerous participants in the aerospace salon.

The main goal of the MAKS air show is the final result, which is expressed in the number of interested participants in the aerospace salon, the conclusion of mutually beneficial contracts for the supply of equipment and technology and, of course, cooperation with other countries in certain areas, including both joint production of aircraft and their modernization.
