Minsk Automobile Plant presents new products: electric garbage truck and racing trucks

On November 22, 2024, an exhibition was held in Minsk, where the latest achievements in the automotive industry were presented. Among the bright new products, an electric garbage truck and racing trucks created in cooperation with Russian partners stood out.

At the event, journalists were shown the process of assembling cars in a full-cycle workshop, where all stages of production take place - from welding the frame to the finished vehicle leaving the conveyor. As part of the import substitution program, MAZ successfully replaces European parts with analogues from the CIS countries, which became possible thanks to cooperation with designers of the Union State. In this context, an important aspect is accessibility MAZ spare parts, which can be purchased from official dealers such as TK Ar Group.

Electric garbage truck

The electric garbage truck, which was described by Boris Muschinsky, First Deputy Commercial Director of MAZ, is a conceptually new vehicle designed for work in urban conditions. It is equipped with an external cabin, which improves access for the crew and speeds up the process of collecting household waste. This model demonstrates the plant's commitment to environmental technologies and modern requirements of the public utilities sector.

In addition to electric solutions, MAZ is also preparing to launch a new bus plant, which will double production volumes. The new enterprise will create new-generation buses with universal bodies that can be equipped with both diesel and gas engines, as well as an electric drive. Deputy General Director of MAZ Vladimir Yanushko noted that it is planned to produce a full line of third-generation passenger vehicles, including tourist and intercity buses.

Racing trucks

In addition, the plant continues to work on racing trucks that participate in rally marathons. This year, the plant team plans to take part in more starts, including competitions in Russia and Mongolia.

The Minsk Automobile Plant continues to increase production volumes, adding 10% this year. Success in expanding markets and developing new models confirms that the Belarusian auto industry is successfully moving forward, introducing innovative technologies and creating products that meet modern requirements.
