Aviation Museum. Museum of Russian civil aviation.

In the middle of 90, I met American David. A big fan of aviation, an amateur pilot himself, he then worked in St. Petersburg as a sales representative. And we crossed with him on the search for aircraft of the Second World War. When asked why he needed the remains of the aircraft, he replied that they collect these remains around the world and restore them, as far as possible, to the exhibition, and even to flight condition. This is a hobby of some Americans. He also said that almost every state in the United States has its own small, but air museum. And it does not focus on American technology. Interest is shown in engineering in general, in the development of aviation, outside politics and borders. He and his father restored about three cars (albeit American, but 30x) to fully flying state. And at that time they had 4 flying aircraft.

At that time, Russia was actively destroying its aviation technology under the arms reduction agreements. It was bitter and insulting for the country, for the history, for the huge number of people, technicians, pilots, designers, engineers, workers who worked on the creation of unique aircraft and helicopters of the Fatherland. In the development of aviation, we have always been at the forefront, the first, so why are we so indifferent to our recent history? Why not pride in their achievements, why they are so indifferent to them?

Central Museum of the Russian Air Force.

The famous Monino. Opened 23 February 1960 of the year. World famous museum of aircraft. In the open air not only serial aircraft have been assembled, but also single, experienced, experimental aircraft. And it's all? To a huge country? With the best planes in the world?

We also have enthusiasts, caring people who care about the history of their country, its technology. On them, sometimes those few museums that are created and are still being kept here are kept.

At the beginning of 90, after signing a (very ambiguous) treaty on limiting conventional weapons in Europe, Russia, with its inherent fervor and enthusiasm, fueled by foreign funding, began to destroy its weapons, and in particular aircraft.

In Taganrog

The chief engineer of the base for the disposal of aircraft, Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Stoyanov, came up with a proposal to keep on one model of the equipment being destroyed. At that time, Vladimir Mikhailov commanded the 4 air army, he supported the idea of creating an aviation museum.

Keeper of the museum and became V. Stoyanov. For years, he beats one with civil and military bureaucrats, for the right to receive one copy of a written-off in the museum's collection. Since the status of the City Museum is not received, then the rights have no museum.

And in Moscow everything is easier. It took the building area, here you are. Hodynka? Yes, take it! Thanks to Vadim Zadorozhny, a unique person, an enthusiast, the owner of a private Museum of technology. He is restoring himself and trying to preserve unique pieces of equipment: tanks, airplanes, guns. It was through his efforts and efforts that little was left of more than 70 exhibits of the famous Khodynka. What did not have time to sell, cut, or muck.

There is also a museum of the famous LII. Gromov. But here, they decided that documents and stands are easier to maintain than full-scale objects. And partly the exposition of this museum came under the disposal of aviation equipment of the Ministry of Defense.

Probably, in the plans of the organizers of the museum, there is also the organization of the site with the field samples of aircraft.

According to aircraft factories, airports, air camps, in the country, there and here, there are monuments of our aviation history on pedestals. And thanks to caring people who care for and care about this important part of our history. The state apparently just does not have enough time to pay attention to this important component of our life, patriotism education among our compatriots.
