Naviator is an American unmanned multipurpose drone amphibian, developed by specialists of Rutgers University of the US Navy.

The Naviator unmanned aerial vehicle was designed for operation not only in the civilian, but also in the military sphere, which was due to the wide functional and operational capabilities of this aircraft. Due to the ability of the device to dive into water and move in water at a low speed, this device can perform a wide range of tasks, for example, be used for research, aerial photography and aerial photography, reconnaissance of terrain and water, observe, patrol and monitoring missions and etc. Due to this, the device turned out to be very popular, in connection with which, at the beginning of 2017, the drone was being prepared for serial production.

The Naviator unmanned aerial vehicle was developed in a multi-copter configuration, which allows the aircraft to be operated in all terrain conditions, taking off and landing in a vertical plane, which gives a lot of advantages over other types of UAVs. The device itself has a fairly compact size, which simplifies the transportation and direct operation of the drone.

The American Naviator unmanned air vehicle is equipped with eight electric motors that are capable of accelerating the aircraft to the maximum speed of flight at 40 km / h, with the autonomy of being in the air to 30 minutes, which is quite acceptable.
