Russian armored personnel carrier rammed an American checkpoint

A Russian armored personnel carrier tried to ram an American military patrol, which blocked the road during the movement of the Russian military in northern Syria. Judging by the photographs presented, taken directly at the site of another skirmish of the military from Russia and the United States, the Russian armored personnel carrier squeezed the side of the American armored car, although the photographs presented do not fully reveal the existing damage if the latter were actually received.

A number of sources claim that the Russian military convoy tried to bypass the blocked road by the American military, however, the latter tried to stop any movement by driving straight into the course of the Russian armored vehicle.

It should be clarified that this is the first attempt by the Russian military to break through the American checkpoints erected in northern Syria.

Russia accused Turkey of violating Syria accords

The head of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Turkey of violating the agreements with Russia on Syria.

“Unfortunately, at this stage, the Turkish side was not able to fulfill a couple of key obligations that were designed to solve the Idlib problem radically”- said Sergey Lavrov.

Whether any measures will be taken by Russia on this background is not known.
