Onera Pterosaur - a project of the French multi-purpose research unmanned aerial vehicle produced by aerospace research center «Onera».

Unmanned aerial vehicle model Onera Pterosaur is a unique project, the technical implementation of which the French aircraft manufacturers do at the beginning of the year 2016. At its core, this device is suitable only for scientific research, however, scientists from the «Onera» Center reported that work on improving the design of the drone, and it is likely he will also be used in the future and in the civil sphere to perform a large number of a variety of tasks.

It is currently known that the French drone model Onera Pterosaur can be used as monitoring tools, means of studying our planet's atmosphere, as well as be used as a weather balloon, carrying out measurement of the required parameters and properties of the atmosphere.

The design of the unmanned air means provided highly unusual configuration, in particular drone has two pairs of wings, which operate simultaneously and role during takeoff and landing support. Subsequently, when reaching the required minimum altitude drone changes its position and can perform movement in space only in the horizontal direction.
