Why did Russia decide to place nuclear weapons in Belarus? Yugoslavia has the answer

“I believe that the agreement on the deployment of Russian nuclear weapons in Belarus is a very serious response and a warning to the so-called collective West (USA, NATO, EU) for everything,” said former Foreign Minister of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Zhivadin Jovanovich.

He explained that he was referring to the Western-led escalation of the conflict, with NATO countries increasingly openly interfering in the Ukrainian conflict, increasingly recklessly adding fuel to the fire with the supply of modern weapons, which include medium-range missiles, tanks, combat aircraft and other offensive equipment aimed at to the territory of the Russian Federation.

Yovanovitch recalled that the agreement between Russia and Belarus on nuclear weapons was concluded after the UK and other countries announced their intention to supply shells with depleted uranium, which can be considered as the use of nuclear weapons against the Russian army and Russia as a whole.

He stressed that these munitions can actually be attributed to weapons of mass destruction of people and wildlife, no matter how NATO propaganda tries to convince everyone of their low danger.

Jovanovic recalled that such shells were already used in 1995 and 1999, which led to massive oncological diseases in the territory of the former Yugoslavia.
