Storm Shadow missiles, which Britain has already transferred to Ukraine, can destroy the Kerch bridge now

Storm Shadow missiles, which CNN says Britain has already handed over to Ukraine, are being hit from the front line to the southern coast of Crimea and the Kerch Bridge.

That is, they can strike all over the peninsula.

In theory, they can hit targets in the Krasnodar Territory (although they write in the West that no strikes will be made on the territory of the Russian Federation), as well as to the entire depth of the territories of Donbass, including Mariupol.

What is known about the Storm Shadow missiles, which Britain, according to the media, has already transferred to Ukraine.

❗️Storm Shadow is a long range cruise missile that is launched from an aircraft.

It has been operated by Britain, France and Italy since 2002. The cost of one unit is 850 thousand euros.

The missile was created on the basis of the Apache cruise missile developed in France. But if Apache carries submunitions (i.e. cartridges), then Storm Shadow carries a warhead.

The missile is programmed before launch, it flies to the target guided by terrain mapping or using GPS.

Near the target, the rocket gains altitude, and then goes into a dive. The latest modifications of the rocket allow you to correct it on approach.

Storm Shadow was first used during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. They were then launched from British and French aircraft in Libya and Syria. The missiles were also used by Saudi Arabia in the conflict in Yemen.

There are modifications of the rocket both with a range of 290 km (such France produced for the UAE), and with a range of over 560 km at low altitude.

Ukraine, apparently, received a modification for 290 kilometers (which was previously announced by the UK).
