Russian airports will be provided with bitumen for the construction of the runway through the Gazprom Neft company

Gazprom Neft and the Federal Air Transport Agency signed an agreement to expand the use of high-tech bitumen materials at Russian airports. Gazprom Neft's products will be used for the construction and modernization of runways, taxiways, aircraft parking areas, aprons and other airfield infrastructure. The document was signed by Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Board, and Alexander Neradko, Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency of the Russian Federation.

To maintain the airfield infrastructure, Gazprom Neft will supply the airports with polymer-bitumen binders, joint tapes, protective and restorative compounds, mastics, and impregnations for concrete surfaces. In the research center of the company's bitumen materials, individual formulations of binders will be developed, taking into account the design loads of specific airports and the climatic characteristics of the regions. The company will also propose its own technology for strengthening the pavement foundations, the use of which increases the reliability and service life of the airfield infrastructure. The operator of the agreement will be Gazpromneft-Bitumen Materials.

Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft:

“Gazprom Neft's bitumen products are widely used in the construction and reconstruction of the infrastructure of many Russian airports, including the Moscow air hub, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok and other cities. Within the framework of the agreement with the Federal Air Transport Agency, we will cooperate even more actively with the regions, adapting the bitumen formulation to the specifics of specific airports, as well as offering our own expertise and infrastructure construction technologies ”.

Alexander Neradko, Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency:

“The introduction of new promising technologies in the construction and reconstruction of airfield infrastructure facilities is a necessary guarantee of high-quality performance of contracts by contractors. The Federal Air Transport Agency is ready to support domestic companies that offer modern high-tech materials for the modernization and maintenance of the operational characteristics of civil aviation infrastructure facilities ”.

GDP is made of concrete, as far as I know

They survived, and now bitumen is gone in the country, everything is exported, and for the domestic market it is sold at the price of gold. The high parties agreed that they can scrape together the construction of one GDP from all over the country.
