Plane-Comet

Plane-Comet is a first in the world created by a jet airliner for commercial purposes. It was designed for middle-distance flights, the full name of the machine - "De Havilland DH.106« Comet. " In principle, the "Comet" is not the first jet aircraft, the first was VC.1, but this is the first device that has been thought through from the design to the end.

History

Home design and discussion of such cars began in 1942 by British designers. They made the first jet aircraft operating time for passengers who had planned to make at the end of the war. 4 identified promising prototype.
