Speaking of unmanned vehicles in China, it should be noted that a large number of machines are supplied with the Soviet Union. So, at the end of 50-ies of the last century in China gave a whole batch of target model of La-17, which was created by the legendary designer at OKB Lavochkin still 1953 year. Due to the majority of their operation fails, which is why it was decided to create its own unmanned machines.

The creation of a new machine is loud, since the design was copied from the Soviet apparatus La-17. Designers of China began the creation of an aircraft in 1968 year. The first created party consisted of 9 devices, which worked out flight tests. Finally, the finalization of the car ended in 1976 year. The unmanned vehicle manufactured by the Chinese was named Ba-5I, but the most famous export name of the car is SK-1. Since 1977, this unmanned target has become the arsenal of the Chinese army. Despite the fact that UAV was created on the basis of the model of the USSR, he had other flight profiles.

The machine had 8,4 7,5 meters in length and meters wide wings. As for the masses, it is intact and charging indicator reached 3,3 tons. The powerful engine with a thrust of 2600 kgs allow to produce high-quality take-off and flying at a speed of 900 km / h. At the same time the range of application of the device is 600 kilometers, and the car could climb tall 18 kilometers.

The design of the SK-1 apparatus is presented in the normal aerodynamics scheme, on which simplified rectangular wings are installed. A feature was the interchangeability of horizontal and vertical tail. As for the power plant, it was represented by the WP6 turbojet engine. The engine was attached to a nacelle outside the aircraft fuselage. The UAV had an autopilot system that was developed by Chinese designers. The launch of the device was carried out using a ground installation, as well as additional powder charges for acceleration during takeoff. The flight process could be carried out in manual mode from a ground control point or according to a predetermined program. Upon completion of the flight task, the drone landed using a parachute system.

Carried out tests showed that the car has excellent flight performance. That is why the development of the project did not stop, due to which there were modifications to perform more highly specialized tasks. The UAV SK-1А was equipped with equipment for radiological reconnaissance and the study of nuclear explosions. For the first time, this model was used in nuclear tests in 1977 during the bombing of the atmosphere. The second modification with the designation CK-1В was ready in May 82 of the year, its main task was to imitate air targets at low altitudes. Also in 1983, a new modification of the CK-1С target was made, which could imitate modern at that time aircraft with high maneuverability. This machine was used for testing anti-aircraft installations. The latest modification was the UAV under the designation CK-1Е, which was intended for testing flights on low flights.
