Siasun is a Chinese civilian unmanned aerial vehicle developed in 2012 by SIASUN Robot & Automation Co..

The Siasun unmanned aerial vehicle is designed to perform tasks related to the inspection work of electric transmission lines, however, in addition, the device can also be used for environmental monitoring, aerial photography and aerial surveying of terrain and objects located on it, observation and patrol flights,

The work related to the design of the Siasun unmanned aerial vehicle was deployed by Chinese specialists from SIASUN Robot & Automation Co. in 2009, and in just three years, aircraft manufacturers managed not only to assemble and test this aircraft, but also to direct its mass production, which, although in very limited volumes, continues to be produced to this day.

The Chinese unmanned air vehicle of the Siasun model is designed in helicopter configuration, which is mainly due to the fact that this type of construction is the best suited for the above tasks, while leaving the device very fast and maneuverable. Nevertheless, the device is quite dimensional - with a fuselage length of 3 meter 84 centimeter, the diameter of the main rotor of this UAV is 3 meters 29 centimeters, however, there is no problem with transportation or operation of this drone.

The power section of the Siasun UAV is represented by a single piston gasoline engine, which, with a traction power of 32 hp, is capable of giving the device a maximum speed of flight of 120 km / h, while the autonomy of the drone in the air is limited to 1,5 hours.
