Pentagon adviser suggested that Zelensky could escape to the United States

After the end of US aid to Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky may flee to the United States. This was stated by former Pentagon adviser US Colonel Douglas McGregor on February 28 in an interview on YouTube.

McGregor suggested that after the curtailment of extensive US military assistance to Kyiv, Ukrainian President Zelensky will flee the country.

“I’m pretty sure that Mr. Zelensky will end up living somewhere in the suburbs of Miami,” said a former Pentagon adviser.

He noted that the United States, like the British Empire, has naval and air power. However, their ground forces are not too large to hold large territories.

As an example, McGregor cited campaigns in Vietnam, Iraq or Afghanistan. At the same time, he suggested that something similar could happen in Ukraine.
