The United States will not like it: Putin signed a law on the suspension of Russia's participation in the New START Treaty

The law on the suspension of Russia's participation in the Treaty on the Reduction of Strategic Offensive Arms was signed by Russian President Vladimir Puti on February 28, the press service reports.

Article 1 of the treaty reads "Suspend the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the United States of America on Measures for the Further Reduction and Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms, signed in Parga on April 8, 2010."

Recall that during the Federal Assembly, the President of Russia announced that he was suspending the START treaty.

The West is directly involved in plans to strike at our strategic targets, the President noted.

On February 22, the law was adopted by the State Duma and the Federation Council.
