By increasing the amount of fuel the aircraft is able to fly much longer compared to the Su-27. Su-37 is able to detect an enemy fighter at a distance from 80 to 100 kilometers. The installed radar implements the simultaneous detection of 15 air targets and the control of 6 air-to-air missiles. The improved opto-electronic targeting system of the fighter includes a TV and a rangefinder-designator. The radar is combined with the optic-location system and connected to an improved helmet sight. They are combined into one complex.
