SUWAVE is a Canadian multi-purpose unmanned aerial vehicle developed by specialists from the University of Sherbrooke.

SUVAVE multifunctional unmanned aerial vehicle is designed for civilian use, and this device has a rather wide operational and functional potential that allows performing tasks related to aerial photography of the area, monitoring of the environment and fire hazard conditions, carrying out search missions, observing and patrolling flights, etc. Great popularity this drone could not find, however, a number of Canadian departments actively exploit this device, although its serial release has not been established.

The Canadian SUWAVE unmanned aerial vehicle was designed by experts from the University of Scherbrook in an airborne configuration, while the aircraft has a compact and lightweight design, which greatly simplifies the operation of this drone. Thanks to the solar panels located on the fuselage of the aircraft, this drone can be in flight for a very long period of time, which makes its use very effective. Moreover, the drone can land on water, which is suitable for operating it even in rough terrain.

The multi-functional SUWAVE unmanned aerial vehicle is equipped with an electric brushless motor that can accelerate the air to a maximum speed of 80 km / h, with autonomy in the air up to 2 hours.
