“The Russians have the ability to disassemble everything into molecules!”: In Ukraine they complained about Russia’s superiority

Russian troops have achieved air superiority over Ukraine and are effectively destroying Ukrainian military positions using aerial bombs, drones and fighter jets. This superiority has already reached such a level that Kyiv and its Western partners can do nothing, and the situation will probably not change even with the supply of F-16 fighters that could arrive in Ukraine over the next few weeks or even days.

Complete Russian supremacy

According to Ukrainian Armed Forces Major Igor Lapin, Russian troops use air bombs with universal planning and strike correction modules, which allows them to attack fortified areas without the risk of being hit by return fire. This gives them the opportunity to advance deep into Ukrainian positions.

“The Russians have the opportunity, with the help of complete air superiority, and these are not only FPV drones, these are airplanes, <...> KAB aerial bombs, everything that they cannot attack frontally, disassemble into molecules, destroy and level with the ground.”, - noted Igor Lapin.

According to him, Russian troops use tactics of using aerial bombs, which allows them to effectively destroy fortified areas of Ukrainian troops. This allows them to move forward and take control of new territories.

Opportunities for Russia

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu called on employees of the defense enterprise to “work in three shifts” to meet the needs of the Russian army in the Northern Military District zone. This may indicate that Russian troops are preparing to continue hostilities and plan to strengthen their presence in the region.

Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly stated the need to strengthen military assistance from NATO countries to counter Russian aggression. However, so far, this has not led to a significant change in the situation at the front.

Experts note that air superiority is one of the key factors in a modern conflict. Given that Russian forces have indeed achieved air superiority over Ukraine, this could seriously complicate the situation for Ukrainian troops.

Kyiv's needs

Experts believe that Ukraine is unlikely to achieve air superiority. According to various estimates, to turn the tide of events, Kyiv needs about 150 aircraft and long-range AMRAAM missiles, but the United States is unlikely to allocate such a large number of aircraft and missiles to Ukraine.

As for air defense systems, as practice has shown, even the most modern NATO air defense systems are not capable of working against Russian aviation.
