A large consignment of machinery from the Ministry of Industry and Trade was delivered to Nicaragua.

A ceremony was held in Managua, the capital of Nicaragua, to hand over the latest batch of Belarusian equipment manufactured by enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian Ministry of Industry. The event became one of Belarus's largest export projects in Latin America in recent years, highlighting the high level of cooperation between Minsk and Managua.

Large-scale supply for infrastructure development

The Nicaraguan side received 248 units of equipment, including construction, municipal, and cargo vehicles from leading Belarusian companies MAZ and AMKODOR. These vehicles will be used to implement national infrastructure programs aimed at the construction, reconstruction, and maintenance of highways and urban roads.

The delivery consisted primarily of trucks from the Minsk Automobile Plant, designed for transporting construction materials, as well as specialized equipment from the AMKODOR holding company, including front-end loaders, excavators, and utility vehicles. The comprehensive nature of the delivery will allow the Nicaraguan side to use the Belarusian equipment in a variety of applications, from road construction to urban improvement.

Modern machines for infrastructure needs

The transferred equipment is designed to perform a wide range of tasks:

• construction and maintenance of roads, including highways and bridges;

• work in public utilities – cleaning, garbage removal, street improvement;

• construction operations during the construction and maintenance of industrial and urban facilities.

Particular attention was paid to models adapted to the climatic and operating conditions of Central America. The MAZ trucks included in the delivery are equipped with reliable engines and enhanced cooling systems, ensuring stable operation in tropical climates.

AMKODOR equipment is renowned for its versatility, ease of maintenance, and long service life, which is especially important in regions with intensive use. The Belarusian side also guarantees the supply of original spare parts, including MAZ spare parts, which will ensure uninterrupted operation of the equipment throughout its entire service life.

Having a continuous supply chain of components will allow for timely maintenance and repairs, keeping machines in perfect condition.
