Activities In addition to the production of aircraft, Aviastar plans to establish production for the conversion of Airbus A320 / 321 (passenger aircraft) into freight. This process is expected to be carried out by the joint venture AFC (Airbus Freighter Conversion GmbH) created specifically for this purpose (25 percent - United Aircraft Corporation and Irkut Company, 32 percent - to the European Aerospace Concern EADS, 18 percent - to Airbus). For the first half of the year 2009, the company's revenue reached 1,53 billion rubles, net loss - 642,1 million rubles. The decision to move the production facilities of Il-76 to Ulyanovsk was made in 2006. Already in 2012, IL-76MD-90A made its debut flight, it is planned to put 40 copies of IL-76 up to 2020.
