Acting Governor of Rostov Region Yuri Slyusar reported on the successful operation of the air defense system (AD) in the Taganrog area. Since early morning, 12 Ukrainian drones have been destroyed or suppressed by electronic warfare.

"Since early morning, air defense forces have been repelling an enemy attack. In the Taganrog area, 12 UAVs have been destroyed and suppressed by electronic warfare. There are no casualties or damage on the ground. The work continues," — the official statement of the head of the region says.

According to preliminary data, the drone attack did not result in casualties or damage. Emergency services in the region remain on high alert to respond to possible new threats.

This is not the first time drone attacks have been recorded in the region. Rostov Oblast, located in close proximity to the conflict zone, regularly becomes a target for Ukrainian UAVs, which forces air defense forces to work in an enhanced mode.
