A colossal number of foreign military aircraft have been spotted near Russian borders.

The Russian newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda, citing information provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, reports that over the past week, close to the borders of the country's airspace, 19 flights of foreign military aircraft were recorded that could carry out intelligence activities and monitor the military situation .

According to the information provided, there were no violations of the Russian airspace, however, due to the increased frequency of flights of foreign military aircraft, Russia is forced to take additional measures, mainly related to escorting military aircraft, as happened on January 23, 2019, when the Ministry of Defense published footage of sending his Su-27 fighter to intercept a Swedish Air Force reconnaissance aircraft, flying 80 kilometers from the Kaliningrad region.

It should be clarified that most often foreign military aircraft fly near the western and southern borders of the Russian Federation.
