Kyiv completely lost control over Mariupol.

A few hours ago, the last Ukrainian military left the territory of the AzovStal metallurgical enterprise, in connection with which Mariupol completely came under the control of the forces of the participants in the special military operation. In total, according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, 2439 Ukrainian soldiers surrendered.

According to the data presented, the Ukrainian military capitulated after Kyiv reported that there was no need to hold AzovStal, however, experts note that, in fact, the Ukrainian military, who continued to be on the territory of the metallurgical plant, had no chance of holding their positions .

“Lack of food, water, medical care, ammunition, etc. Definitely, the Armed Forces of Ukraine could continue to hold AzovStal for some more time, but subsequently the military would either capitulate on its own or be destroyed by strikes”, - the expert marks.

At the same time, a fairly large number of Ukrainian servicemen who left AzovStal is very surprising, since it was assumed that after the evacuation of civilians, there were no more than one and a half thousand people here.
