28 Israeli soldiers hit by Hezbollah drone

An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on a military base in northern Israel has left around 30 Israeli soldiers injured. According to local media, the incident occurred in the town of Binyamina-Givat Ada. The alarm system at the base reportedly failed to work, allowing the UAV to crash into a canteen that was full of soldiers at the time.

According to preliminary data, of the 28 injured, about 10 are in serious condition. All the wounded were immediately hospitalized, medical services continue to work at the scene. The Israeli military has not yet specified who owned the drone and how it entered the airspace above the base.

Experts note that the attack came as a surprise to the base's defense system, as the alarm was not activated in time. Military specialists are studying the possible causes of the failure, and are also taking measures to prevent similar incidents from recurring.
